Supported distribution channels in Cloudbeds PMS

Purpose Use this directory to find the distribution channels and OTAs supported by Cloudbeds PMS, including each channel's connection type, getting started method, guide or contact option, and target region.
Best for Property owners, property managers, revenue managers, and distribution managers who need to confirm whether a channel can be connected to Cloudbeds PMS.
Use this when You want to check if a channel is supported before starting a connection, confirm how to start the setup, or find the correct guide or partner contact.
You need All Cloudbeds PMS packages with channel distribution access.
Expected result You identify the channel you want to connect and know whether to use a dedicated guide, contact the channel, create a listing through Express Connect, or follow the general channel connection guide.
Important limit Connection steps, approval times, supported features, and extranet requirements vary by channel. Calendar-based channels work differently from API channels and only sync availability.

Introduction

Distribution channels are online platforms, OTAs, metasearch tools, booking engines, and other travel partners where your property can sell inventory outside of Cloudbeds PMS. When a channel is connected, Cloudbeds PMS uses the channel manager to send supported rates, availability, and restrictions to the channel and receive reservations back into your account.

Use this article as a directory to find the distribution channels supported by Cloudbeds PMS and understand how each channel connection starts.

 For an easier way to find a specific channel, open all foldable sections first, then use Ctrl+F or Cmd+F on Mac to search by channel name within this article.

Before you connect a distribution channel

Before you start a connection, confirm that your property is active on the channel and that your rooms are already configured in the channel's extranet. Then, review your rates and availability in Cloudbeds PMS because the information may be sent to the channel when the connection is activated.

 Each channel has its own connection requirements and estimated activation time. Some channels can be activated directly, while others require approval or support from the channel account manager.

Understand the channel directory columns

Column What it means
Channel name The name of the channel, OTA, metasearch provider, booking engine, CRS, or distribution partner.
Channel type The type of connection or provider, such as API, metasearch, booking engine, or calendar-based iCal.
Getting started Where to start the setup, such as the channel extranet, partner support, account management, or Cloudbeds Express Connect.
Connection method How the channel manager connection is completed, such as direct activation, activation by request, self-service in the extranet, or account management support.
Guide or contact The available guide, support contact, or channel contact option.
Target region The main region where the channel is available or commonly used.

Calendar-based channels

Calendar-based channels use an iCal connection and work differently from standard API channels. They sync availability only. Rates, room descriptions, restrictions, amenities, policies, and other property details are not sent through the iCal connection.

What to do after finding your channel

  • If the channel has a dedicated guide, open the guide and follow the channel-specific instructions.
  • If the channel requires direct activation, enable Cloudbeds as the channel manager in the channel extranet and continue the connection in Cloudbeds PMS.
  • If the channel requires activation by request or account management, contact the channel or partner support before completing the setup in Cloudbeds PMS.
  • If the channel uses Express Connect, use the Cloudbeds Express Connect workflow to create or connect the listing.
  • If the channel is calendar-based, review the iCal connection requirements before proceeding.
