Guestcentric is a hospitality technology provider that empowers hotels to maximize their direct revenue and reduce reliance on OTAs. Their core solution is a "one-stop-shop" platform that combines an award-winning, high-converting booking engine with a powerful cloud-based Central Reservation System (CRS).
Integrating Cloudbeds and GuestCentric allows for real-time synchronization of availability, rates, and inventory (ARI) between the two platforms. This integration helps to streamline distribution management, reduce manual data entry, and ensure real-time accuracy across both systems.
Prerequisite: You must obtain your Hotel ID from GuestCentric before attempting to connect. Without this ID, the self-serve login flow cannot be completed.
Connect GuestCentric
Step 1 - Getting Started
If you don’t have an account at GuestCentric
- Visit the GuestCentric website to request a demo and become a client.
If/When you have an account at GuestCentric
- Contact your GuestCentric onboarding agent or support team at delivery@guestcentric.com.
- Request to activate the PMS connection with Cloudbeds.
- Obtain your Hotel ID from the GuestCentric team.
- Once you have your credentials, proceed to Step 2.
Important to note
- GuestCentric functions as a Central Reservation System (CRS).
- For properties migrating from a third-party connection (like SiteMinder) to the direct Cloudbeds integration, please coordinate with your GuestCentric agent to ensure a smooth transition.
Step 2 - Connect your channel account through Cloudbeds PMS
- From your Account menu, click on Settings and go to Distribution.
- Search for GuestCentric on the Discover tab and click on the channel card.
- Connection Type: Select your preferred connection type. This integration supports Full and Custom connections.
- Click Connect Existing Listing.
- Log in using your Hotel ID (code you received from the GuestCentric team).
- Map the room types created in Cloudbeds with their corresponding rooms in GuestCentric. When finished, click Continue.
- Rate Plan Mapping: Assign the corresponding GuestCentric rate plans to each Cloudbeds accommodation. Click Continue.
- Add a Base Rate Adjustment for each room type if needed.

Extra Settings (Pricing Model): Select the pricing model that matches your GuestCentric configuration:
- Per Day Pricing: Fixed price per room.
- Per Occupant Pricing: Supports occupancy-based pricing and extra guest charges.
- Review the Confirmation page and click Finish.
After the connection is completed:
- The system automatically synchronizes Availability, Rates, and Inventory (ARI). GuestCentric sends these updates as a single package.
- Cloudbeds will receive all new reservations, cancellations, and modifications from GuestCentric.
Supported channel features
- Real-time Synchronization: Real-time accuracy for ARI across both systems.
- Two-Way Connection: Supports delivery of reservations to Cloudbeds and ARI updates to GuestCentric.
- Custom Connection Types: Ability to configure Full or One-Way sync based on property needs.
- Close Days: Enables the hotel to mark specific days as unavailable for booking.
- Closed to Arrival/Departure: Allows hotels to prevent check-ins or check-outs on certain days.
- Minimum/Maximum Length of Stay: Sets restrictions on the shortest or longest duration a guest can book.
- Credit Card Transmission: Secure delivery of tokenized card details for PCI-compliant properties.
- Cancellations and Modifications: Automated updates for modified or canceled bookings.
- Per-Person Pricing: Also known as Occupancy-based pricing, based on the number of occupants.
- Third-Party Messaging/Reviews: Supports Cloudbeds Guest Messaging and Reviews for Airbnb/Expedia bookings made via GuestCentric.
Payment Processing: GuestCentric does not process payments. If a credit card is invalid during the booking process, the reservation is canceled by GuestCentric and is not sent to Cloudbeds.
