How to create a Pay now-Stay later Rate Plan

Overview

Set up a deposit policy that requires guests to pay upfront to secure their stay while allowing them to settle the remaining balance closer to their arrival date. This approach can be particularly effective in enhancing your reservations during peak periods.

This article shows the steps necessary to create a Pay now-Stay later Rate Plan in Cloudbeds PMS.

Step-by-step guide

Step 1 - Configure the Rate Plan	Go to the Rate Plans and Packages - How to setup section to create/set up your Rate Plan. If you need to edit it later, refer to How to save, edit or delete rate plan.
Step 2 - Set up the Deposit Policy	After creating your Rate Plan, set the amount of deposit guests have to pay to secure their booking: How To Set a Guest Deposit
Step 3 - Configure Payment Options	Setup the credit card payment option: To configure your Payment Options, see How to set up Credit Card as a payment option in your property for more details. Process the payment immediately: If you have Payment Gateway enabled, learn how to configure automatic/immediate payment processing: Setting Up Automatic/Scheduled Payment Processing If you do not have a Payment Gateway connected to your account, process the payment through an external system (POS, terminal, online banking) and post the payment as a record on the reservation folio.

When trying to set up a BOGO rate I want it to be non refundable and the guest need to pay today. That is not our policy on all stays just this promo one. When I test it it shows Deposit "Pay Later" How do I make it "Due Today"
