Overview
The Digital Marketing Suite's Performance Dashboard (formerly Cloudbeds Amplify) tracks how the Digital Marketing Suite boosts bookings:
- By checking daily, weekly, and monthly trends in direct reservations and revenue-driven for your lodging business.
- The Dashboard will show your Booked Revenue and Reservations report and a list of all direct reservations in the Reservations Activity chart.
- The Reservations Activity section includes pending and past reservations across all Digital Marketing Suite channels.
- Reservations are shown with the total amount, including taxes, fees, etc.
- If a potential guest types in and goes directly to the organic website, it is not considered for the Performance Dashboard.
How to access
- In your Cloudbeds account, click on the Main Menu icon
- Click on Digital Marketing Suite (formerly Cloudbeds Amplify)
Understanding the Performance Dashboard
Navigation tabs
- Overview: View the primary data (Booked Revenue and Reservations).
- Metasearch: Manage visibility settings and desired budget to get the most for your Metasearch Campaign. Learn more in this article.
- Retargeting: This new self-service feature allows users to define their budget and create their own property ad. Learn more here.
- Websites: Link to access the Website Editor within the Cloudbeds platform. Learn more about Cloudbeds Websites.
- Reputation: The reputation tab offers an easy-to-use platform for effectively managing your web reputation (guest reviews) on Google. It uses AI-generated replies to enhance the Google Business Profile stars, thus improving your property's overall reputation. Click here to learn more.
- Room Revenue: Current Room revenue generated
- View Insight: This button offers a comprehensive overview of your business's performance, highlighting the revenue and bookings generated and how travelers engage with your property through views and clicks. Learn more in the section below.

Booked Revenue by channel: This box will show the results per each main channel split among Ads, Organic, and Booking Links. Only the revenue for the applicable channels will be displayed in this box.
- Ads - This includes the Digital Marketing Suite's influenced bookings from metasearch, search engine marketing, and retargeting campaigns.
- Organic - Bookings that come through the organic website link in search. The Digital Marketing Suite influence these bookings, as our website is optimized for search engine visibility and drives organic traffic and bookings. You do not pay for organic reservations.
- Booking Links - Bookings from free Google Hotel (also called Free Booking Links). These bookings are possible thanks to the Cloudbeds Booking Engine, which shares your property’s live rates and availability with Google. You do not pay for these reservations.
View chart results grouped by day, week or month by clicking on the three dots on the right side of the dashboard, on top of the Chart type.
The chart will automatically set the interval (for example, days, weeks or months) according to the date range the user selects in the date picker.
View Insight
Click on the View Insight button to access the Booked Revenue card's insights. This action will open up the Booked Revenue details from all bookings per source:
Depending on the Metasearch Ads package, metrics in this section will display Bookings and Commissions or Bookings and Fees. Reach out to our dedicated team for more information.
See the details per booked reservation for the selected time frame, including possible commissions. Click on the View Insight button for more information:

Bookings insight
- Navigate through the date picker to select the desired time frame
- Click on the filter icon to select the required channel/reservation source
Commissions insight
- Click on the calendar drop-down menu to select the desired period of time to show the commissions.
- The estimated commissionable amount will be updated according to the reservation status. This is an estimation until the checkout is complete.
- Once a reservation has been invoiced, its final commission value will be added accordingly.
Metasearch Ads Active
Bookings and fees insight
- Access the Bookings tab to get information about the received bookings per channel/source
- The applicable fees per booking will appear in the Fees tab per date range
- Select the dates to display
- Filter your search
- Print or Export your data

This metric is currently available for the Digital Marketing Suite's Metasearch customers.
The Advertising ROI (Return On Investment) section quickly explains the profits generated by Digital Marketing Suite digital advertising.
This section includes:
- The Revenue generated as Grand Total (full amount including Taxes and Fees)
- The Costs involved in the reservations. For example: Commissions for PPS (Pay/Cost Per Stay, the campaigns based on commission at final cost -checkout-)
- The Profits (Revenue minus costs)
Metrics will be shown based to the time range set in the Dashboard Header.
ROI calculation details
- Only ads-generated reservations will be included in the Advertising ROI calculation.
- Costs are based on the percentage agreed for your property.
- Profit = Revenue - Costs
- The reservation Grand Total (including tax, fees, and add-ons) will be used in any status but canceled. If the reservation is canceled, the commissionable amount will be used to replace the Grand Total.
Comparison view
If the Comparison Mode is set on the Dashboard Header, the Advertising ROI section will show results accordingly with the interval and its compared time (for example previous period, previous year)
- The gauge will only show the current result
- The arrows (per each category) will go:
- Up if the current value is higher than the compared

Down if the current value is lower than the compared
- The Revenue and Profit arrow color will be:
- Green if current is higher

Red if the current is lower
- The Cost arrow color will be:
- Red if the current is higher
- Green if current is lower
View ads
- Find screenshots of your advertisement per each channel live to better understand the digital marketing strategy provided by the Digital Marketing Suite.
- When your advertising screenshots are added to your account, simply click on the View Ads button to see your property ad:
Price Competitiveness shows your rates in metasearch compared to OTA rates, including how many times you had the best, same, or higher rate than OTAs. It covers your rates up to a year in advance, considering check-in dates, lengths-of-stay, and number of guests.
Features
- Keep rates competitive for direct bookings: Regularly compare your direct rates with OTAs to ensure your booking engine offers the lowest price, which will encourage more direct bookings.
- Track rate trends with date range comparisons: Use date range and comparison tools to see rate trends over time, which will inform data-driven rate strategy decisions.
Price Competitiveness Grades
- Best/Excellent - Your rates are almost always lower than OTAs
- Matched/Average - Your rates are often equal to or higher than OTAs
- Higher/Poor - Your rates are consistently higher than OTAs

How it works
Once your Google Business Profile is connected to your Digital Marketing Suite Performance Dashboard, it will retrieve the top metrics below for the last 12 months.
In Google's words:
- Calls: Number of clicks on the call button on your Business Profile (your business phone number will be necessary to start tracking this metric).
- Directions: Number of unique customers who request directions to your business.
- Website Visits: Number of clicks on the website link on your Business Profile.

Connect your Google Business Profile with Digital Marketing Suite

- Learn how to get started here.
- Once you have your Google Business Profile, access your Digital Marketing Suite Performance Dashboard and follow the steps below to start the connection
If you already have a Google Business Profile
- The Google Business Profile card will be available on your Digital Marketing Suite Performance Dashboard, so you can connect your account. Simply click on the Connect button to get started
- When your Google Business Profile is successfully connected to the Digital Marketing Suite, the card will be updated accordingly, retrieving and showing the corresponding metrics
Only the Google Account Owner of the Google Business Profile has permission to connect it to the Digital Marketing Suite.
