Overview
A Payout is a bundle of transactions from a particular day or set of days to be deposited into the desired bank account. With Cloudbeds Payments, your transactions will be captured automatically and sent to your bank account daily, weekly, or monthly, depending on your payout frequency.
- Payout frequency: Payout schedule frequency — how often we send money to your account (daily, weekly, monthly).
-
Payout speed: The time it takes for your funds to become available in your bank account.
Most banks deposit payouts into your account as soon as they receive them, though some may take extra days to make them available. The type of business and the country you are in can also affect payout timing.
In this article, you can learn more about the payout frequency and speed in every available region and all the reports you can use to reconcile your payments.
- The following are our standard payout timings per region. However, the payout timing per account is subject to risk review and can differ from the standard, depending on various factors.
- The first payout for all countries is always 7 days (Transactions days + 7 business days). The second and subsequent payouts will be faster. Check the information per country below.
- Payouts are made only on business days. If the schedule falls on a federal or bank holiday, your payout will be on the next available business day.
- All payouts are net to you. We deduct the processing fees before depositing the payout into your bank account.
- You will see Cloudbeds Payments as the bank descriptor on your payout.
- We can transfer exclusively to bank accounts. We are unable to deposit the payout via PayPal.

Reports for reconciliation
Cloudbeds offers many reports to simplify revenue management. Click on the link to learn more about each one.
- Payouts Report: Shows the amount of each payout you have received.
- Monthly Statements: Lists all payments, refunds, chargebacks, and the processing fees assessed in one month.
- Payment Processing Report: All transactions processed through Cloudbeds Payments (authorizations, declines, charges, refunds). You can check transaction status, retry or cancel scheduled payments, and view fees assessed per transaction.
- Payment Portal
Cloudbeds Payments Reports are based on payments processed, not revenue posted. For example,
Day 1: $100 in room revenue posted on folio
Day 2: $100 Payment is processed on folio
Cloudbeds Payments Reports will focus on payment collected, while reports like our daily revenue report will focus on revenue posted. For this reason, we suggest reconciling your payouts with Cloudbeds Payment Reports or Cloudbeds Payment Portal.
The Payment Processing Report details each payment processed via Cloudbeds Payments. Note your regional funding time for proper payout expectations.
Example:
- On the Payment Processing Report for December 8th, the total net amount is $217.43.
- The Payout amount on the December 10th payout report is $217.43, which indicates that the money was allocated to the bank account as intended for December 8th sales.
