Rebuild reports that used Occupancy (Legacy – Unsupported)

Purpose	Rebuild a report that used the retired Occupancy (Legacy – Unsupported) report type using the supported Occupancy report type.
Best for	Property admins, managers, property owners, and reporting or finance teams that previously used legacy occupancy reports.
Use this when	A report you previously used was created with Occupancy (Legacy – Unsupported), and you need to understand what happened to it or create a supported replacement.
Requirements	Cloudbeds Insights report-building capabilities and Author permission to create and save the replacement report.
Expected result	A replacement report created with the supported Occupancy report type and reviewed before it is used for operational or financial decisions.
Limitations	Reports created with Occupancy (Legacy – Unsupported) are no longer visible or accessible, including in read-only mode. They cannot be restored, converted, migrated, or repointed to Occupancy and must be rebuilt. Historical results may differ because the supported report type uses updated calculation logic.

Introduction

Cloudbeds retired the Occupancy (Legacy – Unsupported) report type on April 30, 2026. On October 5, 2026, Cloudbeds completed the final removal of the legacy reporting experience. Reports and scheduled reports that used this report type are no longer visible or accessible, including in read-only mode.

If you still need the information or reporting purpose from a legacy occupancy report, create a new report using the supported Occupancy report type. Rebuild the configuration using any information you still have about the former report, such as exports, screenshots, documentation, or a comparable report configuration.

Rebuild a legacy occupancy report

Because the legacy report itself is no longer accessible, use any available records of its configuration to determine what needs to be recreated in the replacement report.

Gather any available information about the former report, such as exports, screenshots, saved documentation, or a comparable report from another property. Identify the columns, group rows, group columns, filters, formulated fields, and other settings you need to reproduce.
Go to the Reports area with Cloudbeds Insights and create a new report.
Select Occupancy as the report type.
Add the fields, groupings, filters, and other settings needed for the replacement report.
Save and run the new report. Review the results before using it for operational or financial decisions.
If the former report had an email subscription that you still need, create a new subscription for the replacement report. Scheduled reports associated with the retired report are no longer available.

What did Cloudbeds retire?

Which report type should I use now?

Select Occupancy when creating the replacement report. The former Occupancy (Legacy – Unsupported) report type is no longer available.

Why might the rebuilt report show different results?

Historical values may differ because the supported Occupancy report type uses updated capacity, inventory, and revenue handling.

Review the replacement report before using it as a direct comparison with results previously produced by the legacy report.

Did this affect Cloudbeds Reports or other Cloudbeds PMS areas?

No. The retirement applied only to reports that had been manually created using Occupancy (Legacy – Unsupported). Current Cloudbeds Reports, Cloudbeds PMS screens, and reports that already used Occupancy were not affected.

What happened to scheduled reports that used the legacy report?

Scheduled reports associated with reports created using Occupancy (Legacy – Unsupported) were removed with the legacy reports.

If you still need scheduled delivery, first rebuild the report using Occupancy, and then create a new subscription for the replacement report.
