Hidden Guest Details
Guest personal details are now partially hidden in the profiles list as a built-in security feature. This helps protect guest data if a staff account is compromised. The following fields are affected and displayed as shown:
| Field | How it appears in the list |
| First and last letter shown, full domain shown — e.g. T****y@cloudbeds.com | |
| Phone / Mobile | Last 4 digits shown — e.g. ***-***-5309 |
| Date of birth | birthYear shown, month and day hidden — e.g. 1985-**-** |
| ID document number | Last 4 characters shown — e.g. ******5678 |
| Home address | Fully hidden |
| Postal code | First 2 characters shown — e.g. 94*** |
The document issue and expiration dates are never hidden - only the document number itself.
To view any field in full, click the guest to open their individual profile. Full details are always available there. This setting is managed per property and cannot be turned off by an individual user.

Let me know if you have any other question!
Previously, in Guests section, you could filter statuses of the guests such as Blacklisted or VIP. How can we do it now with Profiles? Is there another way to do it?
Hello, Albert Shigapov!
You can also filter by Guest Status in Profiles (see screenshot below). We have already updated the article in the Filters section, based on your request.
Thank you!
I am on the new profile page and looking to merge a few customer accounts which have the same details. It it doesn't appear to be an option? You can't do it within the guest page on settings.
Hello, Garrett Mac Manus,
Thank you for your question regarding the guest merging feature in the Profiles page.
We understand this is a key tool for your daily operations. Our team is currently enhancing the Profiles page, and the ability to merge guest profiles is already on our team's radar for consideration.
