This guide will walk you through the process of configuring your Salto Space system to seamlessly integrate with Cloudbeds, enabling efficient key card management directly from your property management system.
Step 1. Configure Salto PMS Interface
- Log in to your Salto Space application.
- Navigate to System -> General options.
- Select the PMS tab.
- In the displayed table, check the checkbox for Industry Standard and choose TCP/IP from the dropdown menu.
- Double-click on the Industry Standard line. In the new window, select a port number. We recommend using 7070.
-
Verify Encoder IDs: Ensure that your encoder IDs within the Salto system are numeric. You can confirm this by going to: System -> Salto Network -> Select Encoder and checking that the Name field displays a number.
Step 2. Restarting the Salto Service
After making changes to the Salto Space configuration, it's essential to restart the Salto service for the changes to take effect.
- Open Pro Access Space Configurator.
- Click Stop to stop the Salto service.
- Click Start to start the Salto service.
- Allow a few seconds for the service to start. Confirm that the Status is displayed as Started before proceeding.

The Cloudbeds Bridge app is crucial for enabling communication between your local Salto Space application and the cloud-based Cloudbeds system.
- Log in to your Cloudbeds account.
- Go to Account
-> Apps & Marketplace
- Search for Salto
- Click LEARN MORE then CONNECT APP
- Click Allow Access to authorize the integration. This will take you to the Settings page.

-
Install the cloudbeds-bridge-latest.msi file onto the computer.
We highly recommend installing this directly on the computer that is running your Salto Service. - Start the Cloudbeds Bridge Service
- Starting the app will open a browser window with a Cloudbeds login. If you are already logged in, you can proceed to the next step.
- Click Allow Access to grant Cloudbeds Bridge access to connect to Cloudbeds.
- You will see a success message.
- You should now see the Cloudbeds Bridge service running in your Windows system tray.
- You have now successfully set up the Cloudbeds Bridge App and are ready to configure the Salto integration within Cloudbeds.

You can find Salto Room Names under: Access points -> Rooms in the Salto system.
