Introduction
Cloudbeds Intelligence Explore is a report-finding tool in Reporting that helps you identify the report most likely to contain the information you need, even when you do not know the report name. Instead of browsing report lists and comparing titles manually, you can describe your reporting need in everyday language.
For example, you can ask where to find information about credit card payments, guest information, debits and credits, or another reporting need. The tool compares your request with available reports and suggests the options that most closely match what you described.
Use the steps below to open Cloudbeds Intelligence Explore, describe the information you need, and review the suggested report matches.
Find a report with Cloudbeds Intelligence Explore
Cloudbeds Intelligence Explore can be opened from either the Home or Cloudbeds Reports tab in Reporting. Both tabs use the same Cloudbeds Intelligence Explore icon beside Search Reports, so you can start from whichever of these two reporting views you are already using.
Availability and report coverage
- Cloudbeds Intelligence Explore is available to all Cloudbeds users. A Cloudbeds Insights subscription is not required to use the tool.
- For properties with Cloudbeds Insights, Report Builder users can also search through their saved reports.
- From the Main Menu
go to Reporting.
- Select either the Home or Cloudbeds Reports tab.
- Select the Cloudbeds Intelligence Explore icon beside Search Reports.
The example below uses the Home tab. The Cloudbeds Intelligence Explore icon appears in the same location beside Search Reports on the Cloudbeds Reports tab.
- In the Cloudbeds Intelligence Explore panel, enter a question or description of the information you want to find. You can also select one of the example questions displayed below the prompt field.
- Review your request, then click the Explore button in the Cloudbeds Intelligence Explore panel.
Your request does not need to include the exact name of a report. The example below asks where to find information about credit card payments and shows where to enter or select a question before submitting it.
- Review the suggested reports. Each result includes a match percentage that indicates how closely the report relates to your request.
- Select the arrow for a report result to show or hide more information about why the report matches your request.
- Select the report name to open the report in another tab.
Cloudbeds Intelligence Explore displays the suggested reports with their match percentages and supporting details so you can compare the results before choosing which report to open.
After you select a report name, the report opens in another tab so you can continue reviewing the information it provides.
