Overview
Cloudbeds University, our dedicated learning platform, is designed to allow users to easily find all available training materials for everything about the Cloudbeds system and tools. It provides comprehensive resources to quickly learn about our software, improve their resumes, advance their careers, and streamline their hospitality business operations.
The Cloudbeds University dashboard is divided into three main sections:
- Get to know Cloudbeds
- Cloudbeds Certifications
- Top Functionalities
Get to know Cloudbeds
- This section is the first page that users see when they access the Cloudbeds University platform. It includes all courses to help properties get started with Cloudbeds PMS.
- It is where our Fundamental courses are housed, where users can learn how to use all core functionalities of the Cloudbeds PMS.
- Users can filter by language in the platform's Fundamental courses. Continue reading below to learn more.
Important considerations
- All of our courses are designed in an engaging and interactive format that enhances learning and retention.
- Properties should complete these courses before going live to ensure they understand the basics that need to be configured for their property to start running.

All users should start here to train themselves and their teams. These courses can be completed in conjunction with Onboarding to quickly get staff at all levels up and running.
- In the Get to Know Cloudbeds section/banner of the Cloudbeds University dashboard, click on Start
- The top bar will show:
- The course categories (folders) where the courses are organized.
- Filters: Course type, enrollment status, price, language, duration
- Search bar to look for the desired course
- The option to sort by name, code, or date (oldest to newest and vice-versa)
- Below the top bar, users can find a wide range of courses depending on basic Cloudbeds PMS sections and tools. Click on the course to access it.
- Each course shows the following information at a glance:
- Current status (Free, enrolled)
- Language (English, Spanish, or Portuguese)
- Duration
- Course rating
Scroll down to the bottom of the Get to Know Cloudbeds page to see the courses in progress. You can continue your learning by simply clicking on the course you would like to continue:
Cloudbeds Certifications
- In this section, users can take role (or persona-specific) courses. For example: Front desk staff members access this section and see the the list of courses they should take based on this role.
- After taking all the courses in this list, the user will become certified and earn a certificate that can be shared with their manager, LinkedIn, or other social media platforms.
- These are on-demand courses included in your subscription.
- These certificates are automatically made available through CBU and can be used to ensure training is completed, so managers don’t need to monitor progress or attempt to pull reports.
- We highly recommend that users take these courses before their go-live date.
- In the Cloudbeds Certifications section/banner of the Cloudbeds University dashboard, click on Start.
- The Certifications page will display a range of role/department-specific courses. To begin a course, simply click on the Start now button for that course.
Once you have successfully completed a course or a learning plan in Cloudbeds University, you can download your completion certificate and save it on your own device or share it with other members of the organization. This certificate shows that you have successfully completed your course!
To download your course certificate:
- Go to the Cloudbeds University Main Menu
- Go to My Activities
- Click on Courses
- In the completed courses, a small badge/certificate icon will appear on the right side. Click on this icon. The certificate will automatically download to your device
The course needs to be completed to display the certificate icon to download the file.
💡 You can also click on the course name to access it directly, and click to download your certificate:
If you successfully completed the course but cannot see the Download Your Certificate link/icon, contact our Support Team.
Top Functionalities
- This section is where users can learn about specific functionalities, such as our Digital Marketing Suite, with overview courses, Best Practices courses, and more.
- SOP (Standard Operating Procedures) and Tips & Hacks courses are also available here.
- In the Top Functionalities section of the Cloudbeds University dashboard, click on Learn More to access the functionality course.
- Search for a specific course, use filters, or simply click on the desired course to get started. Continue reading below to explore other sections of Top Functionalities
