Cloudbeds University - Everything you need to know

Overview

Cloudbeds University (CBU) is your centralized training center for exploring all sections and features of Cloudbeds PMS. Offering a variety of courses focused on different topics, Cloudbeds University is the ideal starting point for your Cloudbeds learning journey, where users have access to:

  • Complete Cloudbeds features courses
  • Hospitality industry trends and best practices 
  • Step-by-step SOP (Standard Operating Procedures) for daily operations
  • Useful tips, hacks, and additional learning resources

Access Cloudbeds University

How to access
  1. Login to Cloudbeds PMS and click on the Account icon Account menu icon.png
  2. Click on Cloudbeds University CBU.png You will be redirected to the Cloudbeds University dashboard. Continue reading below to learn more about the main sections.

If you are a new user, read and agree to the Privacy Policy and Terms and Conditions to proceed:

Logging in for the first time

You will be prompted to the login page if it's your first time logging in from a browser.

  1. Enter your Cloudbeds PMS username (email address) and password.
  2. Click Sign In. This page will not be shown the next time you access Cloudbeds University using the button under Get Help.
  • The Single Sign-On feature allows you to access Cloudbeds University directly from your Cloudbeds PMS account.
  • If you select Google Authentication to log into Cloudbeds PMS, you must also select Google to log into Cloudbeds University.

The Cloudbeds University Dashboard

Once you access Cloudbeds University, you will find the following main sections:

  1. Introduction video - Learn how to get started with this quick walkthrough video.
  2. Get to know Cloudbeds - Get started with Cloudbeds basic features for everyday use.
  3. Get your Cloudbeds Certifications - Enroll in learning plans tailored to specific roles and earn your Cloudbeds role certification.
  4. Language selector (Spanish and Portuguese) - By default, the Cloudbeds University interface is available in English. However, you can select the preferred language by clicking on the language selector buttons.
  5. Learning Categories - Select among the available learning categories for: Updates and New Releases, Professional Services, and Live Trainings. 
  6. Top Functionalities - If you are interested in learning a specific functionality, scroll through your CBU dashboard to explore the top functionality courses. These courses also include tips, hacks, SOP (Standard Operating Procedures), and best practices to enhance your strategy and business efficiency.

Click to access the Main Menu Main menu icon.png and explore the tools and resources included in the Cloudbeds University platform. Access courses, updates, and keep track of your activities:

Frequently Asked Questions

Can I reassign an inactive staff member's unused training sessions to a new member?

If a new staff member needs access to Cloudbeds University, simply contact our dedicated Support Team with the names of the old and new users, and we will be happy to help you.

What happens if I miss a scheduled 1:1 session at the last minute?
While we have a 24-hour cancellation policy to keep schedules organized, we understand that flexibility is important for you. If an emergency happens, please contact our Support Team with more information, and we will help you reschedule the session.
I see a lock icon on some of the Cloudbeds University courses. What does it mean?
This icon indicates that the course has prerequisites. This means that users must complete the foundational or required courses in that specific learning path first, so the system can unlock the following course in line.
