Once you access the Distribution page, you will find the following options:

1 - Channels

In this page, you can manage all the channels you have connected and connect to new ones from over 120 channels available.

  1. My channels - find all the channels that you have connected or in process of being mapped on a list.
  2. Add channels - this button will lead you to our Discover channels page, where you can filter and select all the channels we have available and start connecting to new ones. Check our channel connection guidelines here.
  3. Channel connection errors* - if any channel is presenting errors in the connection, the error will be displayed here. Click to view all errors and check our channels troubleshooting articles to know how to proceed. Channel errors must be fixed as they may affect the information synced to the OTA.
  4. Channel connection statuses - it shows the progress of this channel mapping:
    • Ready for mapping / Complete mapping - you can proceed to the channel mapping.
    • Approval pending  - this channel requires approval to proceed. Wait until it changes to ready for mapping.
    • Manage - you can click here by anytime to update the channel mapping settings, if needed, after the mapping is complete.
  5. Set up guide - this button will head you to our connection guides with a step by step in case you have doubts on how to map this channel.
  6. Disable - click here if you want to disable the connection to this channel.

Note that disabling a channel in Cloudbeds PMS will only interrupt the connection on our side, but all the information about availability and rates previously sent to the channel will still be available. Be sure to also disable your listing on the channel's extranet itself.

  2. A short channel description. Click on it to move forward with the channel setup.
3 - Closeouts

On this page, you can add the availability blocks to stop selling inventory in specific OTAs within that date range.

Check in the following article more information on Closeouts - Set channel specific inventory blocks.

4 - Allotment

In the Allotment page you can:

  • Choose how far out you would like to sell your accommodations through all channels (OTAs): 1 to 4 years ahead.
  • Allocate different availability inventory for your OTAs than what you have in Cloudbeds PMS/Booking Engine so you sell a limited number of rooms to OTAs.
5 - Currency

Cloudbeds PMS allows you to specify the currencies you want for your connected channels. If most of your channels use one currency, you can set a default currency, and apply that currency to your channels. You can also specify which currency to use for each unique channel you support.

Check in this article how to manage different currencies.
