E-Invoicing
Current Mandates
Spain E-invoicing mandate takes effect in 2024 for very large businesses and 2025 for smaller businesses. This regulation affects every company in Spain, regardless of where they are located. Mandatory only for B2B transactions. The law has already been approved, and the implementation process has two steps:
- Mandatory from 2024 for companies with a turnover higher than 8 Million a year.
- Mandatory from 2025 for companies with a turnover lower than 8 Million a year.
We plan to implement this in 2024.

Fiscalisation Receipts
Upcoming Mandates
Veri*factu is a similar system to TicketBAI but applies to the rest of Spain. According to the last draft, it will only affect companies with a turnover of less than 6 million a year. The law has already been approved, and it will be mandatory for software manufacturers before July 2024.

Statistical Reporting
Current Mandates
Reports need to be shared monthly (ARCE and ISTAC).

Guest Reporting
Current Mandates
Various police departments in Spain require a nightly police report for all guests staying at hospitality businesses, namely by the Guarda Civil, Policia Nacional, Mossos d’esquadra, or Ertzaintza portal.
