ARCE is the statistical report that Spanish properties must submit to the Statistical Institute INE on a monthly basis.
This feature will provide "hotel" and "apartment" types properties in Spain with ready xml files for their monthly statistics report, which they can use to upload in the ARCE portal directly. The file is fully compatible with ISTAC when Hotel type is selected in the Configuration section. ISTAC is the local statistics for Canary islands.
This report is available for all the properties located in Spain.
Getting started
The INE / ARCE requires guest's state region to be provided. Make sure that this information is entered in the field State in the Guest details when the guest's country is Spain so the report file can be exported smoothly.
- Click Menu.
- Select Reports.
- Click Government & Police Reports.
- Select ARCE Report.

- ARCE report must be configured before you can use it to export the guest's data.
- Make sure all property details on Cloudbeds PMS have been correctly filled out — the information is used in the XML file and ARCE would reject the file if any of them is missing.
- Property Profile: Property Name, Property Address line 1&2 , Post Code, City, State, Phone Number, and Website.
- Company Details (Invoice Details): Company Legal Name and Tax ID.
- Click Configure Report.
- Select your Property Type: Hotel or Apartment. Check one of the options below to proceed with the next steps.
- Select Category.
The hotel category is given to you by the ARCE / Country tourism classification.
- Enter your Hotel ID (ID number given to your property by ARCE).
- Fill in the Number of Occupied Personell (number of people working in the property).
- Unpaid
- Full Time
- Temporary Staff
- Map Cloudbeds Accommodation Type with ARCE Type from the drop-down. Scroll down to see all the accommodation types and make sure to map every single one of them.
ARCE type is a list of general room types in ARCE.
- Once all the room types are mapped, click Save.
- Select Category.

- Map Cloudbeds Accommodation type with ARCE type from the drop-down. Scroll down to see all the accommodation types and make sure to map every single one of them.

- Once all the room types are mapped, scroll down to fill out your contact and address details.
ARCE requires a contact name for the report, anyone who they can reach out to discuss the submitted data.
- In case the apartment is managed by a company, tick the box "Include management company info" to fill out the company details (optional).
- Enter all the information about the company.
- Click Save.
When the configuration is successful you will be able to export the XML file and upload it in the ARCE portal directly.
- Select the month from the drop-down.
- Click Export.
Example of the file exported (not a complete version):
- Click here to access ARCE.
- Enter your credentials and click Entrar.
- Choose the file (file previously exported).
- Click Subir Fichero Datos.
- You will see the pre-populated data. You can still edit and modify it manually if necessary.
An error will pop up if a new accommodation type is added on Cloudbeds PMS after completing the room mapping (ARCE configuration) — leading to unmapped rooms. The system will prompt you to map the new room type in the ARCE configuration.
