The Guest Opt-in tab allows you to create, customize and preview the text displayed in the opt-in/opt-in confirmation page when your guests opt in for Marketing Emails. This article explains how to add and edit this text based on your needs.
Overview
The Guest Opt-in tab of the Email section includes the following options:
- Guest Opt-in Page: This text will be shown when the guest is on the opt-in page and enters their email to agree to receive marketing emails.
- Guest Opt-in Confirmation Page: This text will be shown to the guest once they confirm that they have opted in.
Access Guest Opt-in
- In your Account menu, go to the Settings Page and click on the Email section
- Click on Guest Opt-in
The Guest Opt-in tab will only appear on your Email page if the GDPR Compliance Functionality is enabled in your System Miscellaneous Preferences.

- Select the desired language
- Add your opt-in text for your guests. Use the editor to apply format to your text, if needed
- Click Save
Optional: Click on the Preview button to see how your text will look like.

- Select the desired language
- Add your opt-in text for your guests. Use the editor to apply format to your text, if needed
- Click Save and preview your changes (optional)

The Guest-Opt-In tab will appear if the GDPR Compliance Functionality is enabled in the Miscellaneous Preferences of your System page. If enabled, your property will have tools to comply with GDPR, such as Guest Data Extraction, Anonymization, and Marketing Opt-In.
