How to sign up and connect to Mecx-Tech (Payment Gateway)

Purpose	Sign up for a supported Mecx-Tech payment gateway integration and connect it to Cloudbeds PMS.
Best for	Property owners, administrators, and team members responsible for payment gateway setup.
Use this when	You want to request, purchase, and activate a Mecx-Tech payment gateway app from the Cloudbeds Marketplace.
Requirements	An account with the selected payment gateway or bank, the required integration credentials, and access to Apps & Marketplace in Cloudbeds PMS.
Expected result	The selected Mecx-Tech payment gateway app is requested, activated, and ready for onboarding.
Limitations	This is a paid add-on. Some providers require testing before activation, and Cloudbeds does not convert transaction currencies.

Introduction

Mecx-Tech connects supported payment gateways and payment providers to Cloudbeds PMS through apps available in the Cloudbeds Marketplace. The process includes setting up an account with your selected provider, submitting a request for the paid app, agreeing to the pricing, and sharing the required credentials with Mecx-Tech.

Review the requirements below before submitting your request. Your selected gateway must support the same transaction currency configured in your Cloudbeds account.

Before you begin

Before connecting to Cloudbeds, follow the instructions to set up an account with the payment gateway provider. If you already have an account, review Mecx-Tech Payment Gateways Overview and follow the support article for your selected provider to obtain the information listed in the Integration requirements section. Mecx-Tech will need this information to complete the setup.
If you decide to use Mecx Pay with a specific provider from the Mecx-Tech Payment Providers portfolio, ensure you have an existing account with your chosen bank or payment provider. Mecx-Tech will not handle your registration.
Some providers require testing with a test API key before setting the integration live. This may delay the process for up to 30 days.
Ensure that the payment gateway can transmit transactions in the same currency as your Cloudbeds account, as Cloudbeds will not handle currency conversions.

How to connect

Go to your Account and select Apps & Marketplace .
Search for Mecx-Tech or the specific payment partner in the search bar.
Click Learn More on the partner card.

The Marketplace search results show the available Mecx-Tech payment apps that match your search and selected filters.

Review the app information and click Submit Request.

This action sends a request to the Cloudbeds Customer Growth team. They will contact you by email with pricing and the details needed to continue.

After the request is submitted, the app page displays a confirmation message.

Agree to the pricing with the Customer Growth team. After the app is activated in your PMS, return to the app page and click Connect App.

Email the keys or information provided by the payment gateway to Mecx-Tech at support@mecx-tech.com. Mecx-Tech will use the information to complete the onboarding process.

To disconnect the app, contact the Cloudbeds Support Team.
