Introduction

Transaction Status is a Cloudbeds Data Field (CDF) available in Financial data. It identifies the status of a transaction in terms of system posting and can display Posted or Pending.

Use this field when you need to distinguish transactions by posting status in a Cloudbeds Insights report. For example, a room-rate transaction associated with a future stay date can appear as Pending.

This article explains how to interpret Transaction Status, add it to a report, and filter a report to show only Posted transactions.

Understand Transaction Status in Financial data

Transaction Status is available in the Financial dataset and helps you identify whether an applicable transaction is Posted or Pending.

Status What it indicates
Posted The transaction has a Posted status in the system.
Pending The transaction has a Pending status. For example, a room-rate transaction associated with a future stay date can appear as Pending.

You can add Transaction Status as a report field when you want to see the status in the results, or use it as a filter to control which transaction statuses are included.

For the complete directory of Financial and other Cloudbeds Data Fields, see Cloudbeds Data Fields (CDFs): definitions and calculations.

Add Transaction Status to a report

Add Transaction Status when you want the posting status displayed in the report results.

  2. In Table Outline, click + Add under Columns.
  3. Search for Transaction Status.
  4. Select Transaction Status to add it to the report.
  5. Run or refresh the report to review the results.

  1. Open the report you want to edit.
  2. In Filters, click Add rule.
  3. Search for and select Transaction Status.
  4. Select IN as the operator.
  5. Select Posted and leave Pending unselected.
  6. Click Apply.
  7. Run or refresh the report and review the results.
  8. Save the report if you want to reuse this configuration.

The example below shows the filter configured for Posted transactions only.
