Cloudbeds Payments offers card-present terminals fully integrated with the Cloudbeds platform. When your guest completes a transaction, the sale is automatically recorded in Cloudbeds.
Guests can tap, dip, chip, or swipe major credit cards, including Visa, Mastercard, American Express, and Discover, plus most regional payment cards and digital wallets.

Important information
Review these requirements before ordering or connecting a Cloudbeds Payments terminal.
- You can only connect to a supported terminal when Cloudbeds Payments is enabled.
- The card reader must be shipped to the property address.
- P.O. boxes are not allowed.
- Cloudbeds cannot ship to residential addresses. If your property is not open yet, the Cloudbeds Payments team can place the order close to the opening date so you receive the terminal at the property.
- Cloudbeds covers shipping costs. Shipping time is 2 to 5 days, depending on your location.
- Cloudbeds Payments terminals do not sync with the Lightspeed app.
Terminal devices
Cloudbeds Payments supports the terminal models below. The terminal available to your property may depend on your region and order timing.
Stripe Reader S710
- The Stripe Reader S710 is Cloudbeds Payments' newest terminal model. It is a countertop-ready card reader with a full touchscreen display, supporting WiFi and Ethernet connectivity. Learn how to connect it: How to Connect Your Terminal to Cloudbeds PMS.
- Starting July 20, 2026, the Stripe Reader S710 is the default terminal for all new terminal orders, regardless of country.
- If you already have a BBPOS WisePOS E terminal, you do not need to replace it. It continues to work normally, including in the new markets listed above.
BBPOS WisePOS E
- The BBPOS WisePOS E is an intelligent reader with a 5-inch touchscreen display ideal for hybrid countertop and handheld use. It has a battery and plug-in operation, allowing it to be used both on your countertop and on the go.
- The BBPOS WisePOS E runs on a modern Android-based operating system, allowing it to receive software updates automatically.
