This guide covers the technical setup of the integration. For an overview of the legal requirements and mandatory guest fields, see our companion guide: Brazil Police Report (FNRH) - Everything you need to know.
- FNRH (Ficha Nacional de Registro de Hóspedes) is the mandatory guest registration platform for the Brazilian government.
- The Brazil Police Reports integration automatically synchronizes guest registration data from Cloudbeds to the FNRH portal, ensuring compliance for hospitality establishments in Brazil.
- Cloudbeds provides this integration to help properties stay compliant with the reporting requirements.
Don't have an FNRH account yet? If your establishment is not yet registered with the Ministry of Tourism, you must first register your property here before you can generate API keys.
Before you start
-
Obtain your FNRH API Credentials: Before configuring Cloudbeds, you must retrieve your unique access keys from the Brazilian government portal.
- Go to the official Gov.br SSO portal and click Emtrar com gov.br.
- Log in using your CPF and password to proceed to the FNRH dashboard.
- Once logged in, navigate to the Chave das API's module on the main dashboard.
- Locate and copy your Usuário (Username) and Chave (Key). You will need these for the app setup.
- Go to the official Gov.br SSO portal and click Emtrar com gov.br.
- Gather Staff CPFs: Collect the CPF (Cadastro de Pessoas Físicas) for all Cloudbeds users who perform guest check-ins. Because the FNRH system requires an individual identifier (cpf_solicitante) for every record, each Cloudbeds user must be mapped to their specific CPF within the app settings.
Properties in Organizations: Organization Owners can’t download this app from the Marketplace. Use a Property-level user with Marketplace permissions to connect the app.
Connect the app
- From your Account menu
, click Apps & Marketplace
- Search for “Brazil” (using a “z”, even if your PMS language is set to Portuguese) and click Learn More for Brazil Police Reports.
Note about the application name: In the Cloudbeds Marketplace, the integration may appear under the name “Brazil Police Report.” Please note that this is the global technical name of the module, but it refers specifically to the submission of the FNRH (National Guest Registration Form) to the Ministry of Tourism’s new FNRH Digital Platform, as required by MTur Ordinance No. 41/2025.
- Click Connect App.
- Click Allow Access to grant the requested permissions.
- After allowing access, you’ll be redirected to Connected Apps. Click App page.
- Click Settings.
Configure the app settings
- FNRH API Credentials: Enter the Username and API Key you retrieved from the FNRH portal.
-
User Mapping:
- Requester CPF: Enter the CPF for each Cloudbeds user listed. The FNRH system requires the individual identifier of the person performing the check-in for every sync.
- Default CPF: Provide a fallback CPF. This will be used if a check-in is triggered by a system action or a user who has not been individually mapped.
-
Click Submit to save your credentials and user mapping.
There is no "success" pop-up after clicking Submit; your settings are saved immediately upon clicking the button.
You’re connected! The integration will now automatically sync data for checked-in guests.
How the synchronization works
The integration synchronizes data automatically based on specific guest milestones:
- Check-in: When a guest is checked in, the reservation and all associated guest data are sent to FNRH in a single request.
- Check-out: When a guest checks out, the record is updated in the FNRH portal to finalize the stay.
- Modifications: If guest details are updated after check-in but before check-out, or if new guests are assigned to a checked-in reservation, the changes are automatically synced.
Validation Rule: For the sync to be successful, required data for every guest in the reservation must be complete. If one guest is missing information, the entire reservation sync will fail.
Monitoring and Troubleshooting
You can monitor your synchronization status in the Utilities section of Cloudbeds PMS:
- Go to Account Menu
→ Utilities
→ Integration Sync.
- View the status of each report:
- Completed: The guest data was successfully sent to FNRH.
- Error: The sync failed. Hover over Show more to see the specific validation error (e.g., missing CPF, invalid date, or incorrect credential).
Frequently Asked Questions
Does this integration sync reservations as soon as they are created?
No. The integration will not sync reservations upon creation. The FNRH integration only begins tracking and syncing data once the Check-in trigger occurs. Reservations in "Confirmed" or "Pending" status are not sent to the government portal until the guests actually arrive and are checked into the PMS.
What happens if a guest doesn't have a CPF?
The Brazil Guest Information template includes logic for both domestic and international guests. While Brazilian citizens must provide a CPF, international guests may provide Passport details. Ensure the "Brazil" template is active to collect the correct mandatory fields based on the guest's nationality.
How do I fix a sync error?
If a sync fails, go to the Integration Sync log under Utilities. Click "Show more" on the error to see which field is missing or incorrect. Once you update the guest's information in their profile, the integration will attempt to re-sync the data automatically.
How can I disconnect the Brazil Police Report app?
You can disconnect the Brazil Police Report app the same way as any other Marketplace app in Cloudbeds PMS. Follow this guide: Marketplace – How to disconnect an app from Cloudbeds PMS.
Once the app is disconnected, it will no longer appear under Connected Apps, and the Brazil Police Report configuration fields will no longer be available in Settings.
If you reconnect the app later, you will need to re-enter your Brazil Police Report configuration details.
