PayPal PayFlow Pro - Connection Guide

PayPal PayFlow Pro is a payment gateway that can be used to process debit and credit card payments from a checkout page hosted on your own website. It is currently available in United States, Canada, Australia, and New Zealand.

Cloudbeds PMS only connects with PayPal PayFlow Pro which is different from PayPal Payment Pro. Check out the difference: PayFlow Gateway

  1. If you don't have an account yet, create one here: Payflow Payment Gateway otherwise, proceed to the next step.
  1. Select Payflow Pro
  1. Complete the signup process.

Obtain PayFlow login details

Your PayFlow Login is the Merchant Login you use when logging into PayPal Manager. These login details are needed to connect the gateway to Cloudbeds PMS.

Connect PayPal PayFlow Pro to Cloudbeds PMS

With the credentials in hand, enable the payment gateway inside Cloudbeds PMS. Follow the step-by-step here: Payment Processing Setup

Troubleshooting

Error: Invalid vendor account

Make sure you enter the correct PayFlow credentials in the payment gateway setup on Cloudbeds PMS. These are not the same credentials as your PayPal account. Contact PayFlow's support team for assistance.

Declined: 15005-This transaction cannot be processed.

Error "Declined: 15005-This transaction cannot be processed."

The transaction was declined by the issuing bank, not PayPal. 15005 errors result from an AVS decline, usually caused by the billing address not matching the card issuer's information on file. The card-issuing bank may also have declined the transaction due to lack of funds.

Invalid merchant information: 10548-This transaction cannot be processed.

Error "Invalid merchant information: 10548 -This transaction cannot be processed. The merchant's account is not able to process transactions."

Check your PayPal account settings if your merchant account is a business account.
