Instagram is one of the most effective social platforms for promoting your property. By adding your Cloudbeds Booking Engine link to your Instagram profile, guests can quickly access your availability and make direct reservations—improving visibility, convenience, and direct revenue.
This guide explains how to copy your Cloudbeds Booking Engine URL and add it to your Instagram Business profile. It also clarifies Instagram’s optional “Book now” action buttons and their current partner limitations.
Step 1 - Switch your Instagram account to a business account
An Instagram Business Account provides access to analytics, professional tools, and profile fields designed for business use. If you are not already using a business account, follow Instagram’s instructions: Set up a professional account on Instagram.
Step 2 - Copy your Cloudbeds Booking Engine link
- In your Account menu, go to Settings and click Booking Engine.
- In the Summary tab, copy your Booking Engine URL. You will need it for Step 3.
Step 3 - Add your Booking Engine link to your Instagram profile
On Instagram, open your Business profile and tap Edit profile. Add your Cloudbeds Booking Engine link in the Website field (or in the website field of a “link in bio” tool, if you prefer using one).

When guests tap the link, they will be automatically redirected to your Booking Engine. Here is an example:
Make your link stand out! Add a short, inviting phrase (for example: “Book your stay here” or “Check availability”) in your Instagram bio to draw more attention to the website link.
Optional – About Instagram “Book now” and other action buttons
Instagram offers optional action buttons—such as Book now, Reserve, or Order food—for some business profiles. These buttons allow users to complete actions directly through Instagram, depending on the partner service used.
Action buttons are managed entirely by Instagram and require connecting your profile to one of their supported partners. Supported partners are currently focused on appointment scheduling, restaurant bookings, or food ordering services. You must already have an account with the partner to enable the button.

Important: Cloudbeds is not listed as an Instagram action button partner. This means your Cloudbeds Booking Engine URL cannot be connected to Instagram’s native Book Now button. The recommended method is to add your Booking Engine URL to the Website field in your profile, as described in Step 3.
