Onboarding - Everything you need to know

Welcome to Cloudbeds! Your Cloudbeds Onboarding begins with meeting your designated Onboarding Coach, who will partner with you throughout the process to ensure your system is set up successfully.

During this setup, the basic information about your property will be gathered to help you build your account according to your daily operations.  

This article includes the steps to follow in your Onboarding process.

  Cloudbeds believes every lodging business is unique. We have tools for every size and budget to establish and grow it. This article includes the steps in our general Onboarding process; it might not reflect the tools included in your package.

Stages of your Cloudbeds Onboarding process

1. Kick-Off Call with your Onboarding Coach

You will receive an invitation to meet your dedicated Onboarding Coach and plan your onboarding experience together.  

Your Onboarding Coach will be your advocate within Cloudbeds throughout the entire process, and during the kick-off call, your coach will:

  1. Outline the Setup Process
  2. Review the required Customer Information
  3. Establish a Follow-up Call

2. Account Setup

Actively work with your Onboarding Coach to set up your:

  1. Accommodation Types
  2. Base Rates
  3. Taxes and Fees

The outcome is a fully live system that can receive new reservations and manage customers at the front desk. During the setup, your Onboarding Coach will utilize the provided property information, complete the configuration, and connect your channels.

3. Go Live

After your system is connected to the preferred channels, and you're ready to receive reservations through your Cloudbeds Booking Engine, our 24/7 Support Team can assist with any questions and/or troubleshooting.

4. Adoption

Master how to use your newly setup system. Your Onboarding Coach will stay in touch to ensure your property transitions smoothly and begins to utilize all available Cloudbeds features.

5. Onboarding Complete

FAQ

How can I access my Cloudbeds PMS account for the first time?

  1. With the link provided by your Sales Representative, click on Login to setup your password

 Once your password is setup, you can always access your property from the Cloudbeds website or through your login page directly.

  1. Answer setup questions (country, time zone, currency),
  2. Click on Continue.

How can I access my property settings?

  1. Click on the Account icon
  2. Click on Settings

Proceed to review and update if needed your Profile, Accommodation, Taxes and Fees, and Sources information.
