Following these steps, you can effectively set up and manage your spaces, maximizing your property's potential and enhancing your guests' experience.
Create Space Types:
- Navigate to the Account
-> Settings
-> Property
in your Cloudbeds PMS account.
- Locate the new Spaces section.
- Click on +New Space Type to define your spaces (e.g., Meeting Room A, Pool Cabana 1).
- Configure the details for each space type, including:
- Details: Enter the Title, Abbreviation, Max Occupancy, and a Description. You can also upload an Internal Image for staff reference.
- Units: Define how many of these spaces exist (e.g., 5 "Pool Cabanas"). You may give each individual unit a specific title.

Min/Max Interval: Set the duration limits (Note: Setting Max to 0 means infinite/no maximum).

- Availability: Rental Interval: Set increments (30 min, 1 hr, 1 day).
- Pricing: Set a Base Price and choose a Price Frequency (e.g., "$50 per 1 hour" vs. "$50 per rental").

Taxes/Fees: Apply relevant tax rules to the space.
Spaces Calendar:
- Go to the main Menu
and access Spaces Calendar
- The calendar displays space reservations organized by space type. Use the filter to show only the specific space type.
- Click on an empty cell to create a new space reservation or block.

Block time:
- Confirm the date and time of the block.
- Add a title and reason for the block.
- + Add space rental:
- Search for an existing reservation, group, or house account.
- Confirm the date and time of the reservation.
- Update the title and optionally add the number of guests and a description.
- Override the rate and frequency if needed.
Managing Existing Reservations:
- Click the reservation drawer to change the status of a reservation (Confirmed, In House, Checked Out).
- Delete a space reservation by clicking the option at the bottom of the drawer.
- Or edit all the rest of the fields if needed.
