How to use Cloudbeds POS

Creating an Order:

1. Select Items

2. Add items or services to the order
   
   

3. Select the charging method: Charge to Folio, Pay with Cash, Use Third-Party Payment Processors or Tap to Pay (if available).
4. View Order Summary: Review items and choose payment methods
5. Checkout
   

Adding an Order to a Folio:

1. Search for the Reservation: Assign the order to a guest.

2. Confirm Order: Review the reservation and order summary.

3. There is an option to delete a guest. It allows you to assign the order to a different reservation. This function does not delete a guest from Cloudbeds PMS.

4. Checkout: Finalize and complete the transaction.

5. The order was submitted to Folio; you can close it.
   
   

6. The items and taxes are included in the folio, and the notes indicate that these items were added through the Cloudbeds POS.
   
   

Payment Methods:

Cash or Third-Party Payment Processor:

After adding the items to the order:

1. Choose cash as a payment method.
2. Create a name for the order. When adding the order name, you can see that the default house account is pre-selected, and the money will be posted there.
3. If you want to post the transaction in a different house account, you must click on change.
4. The system will show you a list of all available open house accounts and allow you to create a new one.
5. After selecting the house account, the payment will be posted.

iOS Availability:

• iOS 16.7+: Australia, UK, USA (not Puerto Rico).

• iOS 17.0+: France, Italy, Netherlands.

• iOS 17.4+: Austria, Canada, Czech Republic, Ireland, New Zealand, Sweden.

Android Availability: Australia, Austria, Belgium, Canada, Czech Republic, Denmark, Finland, France, Germany, Ireland, Italy, Luxembourg, Netherlands, New Zealand, Norway, Portugal, Singapore, Spain, Sweden, Switzerland, UK, USA.

Add the items to the order and follow the steps below:

1. Choose Tap to Pay as a payment method.
2. Create a name for that order. When creating and adding the order's name, you can see that the default house account is pre-selected, and the money will be posted there. If you want to post the transaction in a different house account, click on change, and the system will show you a list of all available open house accounts and give you the option to create a new one.
3. Click on Pay.
4. Tap the card on the phone.
5. You'll see s pop up that the payment is added. If the payment is declined, you can try again or use a different payment method.

Adding to a House Account (No Payment):

After adding the items to the order:

1. Choose to Add to a House Account
   
2. Creates a name for that order. When creating or adding the order's name, you can see that the default house account is pre-selected, and the money will be posted there.
3. If you want to post the transaction in a different house account, click on change.
4. The system will show you a list of all available open house accounts and allow you to create a new one.
5. After selecting the house account, the payment will be posted.
