This article explains how to manage Booking.com rate plans directly from Cloudbeds PMS. You will learn how to access the Rate Plan Configuration step within the Booking.com channel setup and how to create, edit, and delete rate plans without leaving the Cloudbeds platform.
If you do not see the Rate Plan Configuration step in your Booking.com channel setup, this feature may not be enabled for your property.

How to access the Rate Plan Configuration
- Go to your Account Menu
> Distribution
> Channels > find the Booking.com channel setup page and click Manage
- Click View/Edit on the Rate Plan Configuration step
- In the rate plan configuration page, all of your Booking.com rate plans will be listed in a table. On this page, you can:
- Add new rate plans
- Edit existing rate plans
- Delete rate plans

How to create a new Rate Plan
- Click on the +Rate Plan button

Fill out the required details:
- Rate plan name: Free text field, required
- Rooms to which the rate plan applies: Dropdown list of available Booking.com rooms
- Cancellation Policy: Dropdown list of available cancellation policies from the extranet

Meal Inclusions: Yes / No
- If Yes, displays a dropdown to select meal options
It is only possible to use existing cancellation policies from the channel extranet. You must create cancellation policies in your Booking.com extranet to view them during rate plan creation in Cloudbeds.
- Click OK to save the rate plan
- A new Booking.com rate plan created from Cloudbeds will appear in the channel extranet.
- A new Booking.com rate plan created from Cloudbeds can be used for rate plan mapping when the user proceeds with the next configuration step (Rate plan mapping).
How to edit an existing Rate Plan
- Click on the pencil icon next to the rate plan you want to edit
- Update the necessary details in the provided fields
- Click OK to apply the changes
How to delete an existing Rate Plan
- Click on the delete icon next to the rate plan you want to remove
- A confirmation message will appear. Click "DELETE" to proceed with deletion, or "CANCEL" if you decide to keep the rate plan.
Deleting a rate plan from Cloudbeds will also remove it from the Booking.com extranet.
Consider retaining or remapping rate plans if you wish to continue selling them on Booking.com.
Recommendations for using Rate Plan Management with Rate Plan Mapping
To ensure a smooth setup and avoid mapping issues, follow the recommendations below when using the Rate Plan Management functionality together with Rate Plan Mapping.
- Make sure the appropriate channel accommodations are mapped in the Room Mapping step before configuring rate plans.
- Create a new Booking.com rate plan in the Rate Plan Configuration step using the previously mapped accommodations. If you plan to use existing rate plans, ensure the mapped accommodations are already included in those rate plans.
- Map your Cloudbeds rate plans to the corresponding Booking.com channel rate plans in the Rate Plan Mapping step.
