Cloudbeds Community and Ideas submission - Everything you need to know

This article offers a general overview of the Cloudbeds Community, how to join and submit your ideas, ask questions, and more.

Overview

The Cloudbeds Community is a space where Cloudbeds users and team members can openly discuss and share ideas. This space also includes a section for asking open questions that anyone in the community can answer, encouraging collaboration, participation, and continuous learning.

How to access the Cloudbeds Community

  1. Go to our Cloudbeds Help Center and click on the Community icon
  2. Select the preferred topic to access and participate

Community sections

For the moment, the Cloudbeds Community platform is only available in English. You can post your ideas and questions in your preferred language, and our multilingual community members will respond.

1. Welcome section

The Welcome section briefly introduces the Cloudbeds Community and includes helpful guides for all users, such as the community guidelines and the most frequently asked questions.

2. What's new?

Find the latest news about your Cloudbeds products, including new releases based on your submitted ideas and improvement suggestions.

3. "How do I..."

This is an open space to ask questions that any community member (including the Cloudbeds team members) can reply to.

4. Ideas Hub per Cloudbeds feature

The Ideas space is organized in Idea Hubs. Each of these spaces allows you to submit your valuable ideas as usual, click on the topic related to the idea that will be submitted, fill out all the required fields, and click on Submit.

Important:

Asking a question in the "How do I..." section does not guarantee an immediate answer from any community member. For urgent requests, contact our Support Team and provide all the corresponding request details.

Frequently asked questions

How do I submit an idea?

  1. Click on the desired community topic and click on New post
  2. Add your idea details
  3. Click Submit 

What happens to my submitted idea?

Once received, all the submitted ideas are reviewed by our dedicated team. When they have been successfully reviewed, they are set as open for votes so all the community members can see your idea and vote for it.

Our team monitors and tracks all the ideas so they are successfully sent to our Product Team for a deeper evaluation. If an idea needs more details, a Cloudbeds team member will ask you for more information to ensure we capture all the details.

Where are the previously sent ideas from the Ideas Board?

The Ideas Board has been replaced with this new Cloudbeds Community, allowing users to have an open space to share ideas, ask questions, and interact with other Cloudbeds users.

The previously submitted ideas have been categorized and sent to the corresponding departments for evaluation, and all the new ideas submitted in the Cloudbeds Community will also be reviewed.

    please if you could allow the advance invoicing feature on the groups as well.

    what we are aiming is to delete unwanted invoices that will create confusions.

    The Cloudbeds Booking Engine displays your accommodations in the same order they have in your Cloudbeds PMS. You can click and drag your accommodations on the Accommodations page to organize them and control the order in which they appear in the Booking Engine (and your Calendar) Click here for more information.

  • Hi, I would like to request that you all add an SMS notification feature. For small businesses it would be really helpful to get a text notification in addition to the email notification when a new reservation is made.
