In this article, you will learn about the differences between the Cut-Off and Last-Minute Booking settings and how they can help you manage guest reservations more effectively.
At the moment, Cut-Off and Last-Minute Booking restrictions are only supported by Google Hotel Search, TripAdvisor, Booking.com, and Keytel/Hotusa.
These two options are part of our Rate Plans and Packages feature. To learn more, visit How to Add Rate Plans and Packages.
Cut-Off Setting
The Cut-Off setting allows you to configure how many days before the arrival date guests must book. It is mainly used for properties that want to secure bookings in advance by offering discounted rates for early reservations.
Adding minimum and/or maximum length of stay restrictions provides even more control over these offers.
Example: Suppose you set the booking cut-off to "3 days." If a guest wants to book for June 4th, they must make the reservation before June 1st.
Last-Minute Booking Setting
The Last-Minute Booking setting allows you to configure how many days before the arrival date guests are still able to book. It is mainly used to boost last-minute reservations.
Adding minimum and/or maximum length of stay restrictions provides even more control over these offers.
Example: Suppose you set the last-minute booking window to "3 days." If a guest wants to book for June 4th, they will only be able to book starting June 1st or later.
If the guest's departure date falls outside the package rate range, the base rate will apply instead of the package rate.
