Please can you include a list and description of the [merge] tags available within custom email templates?
Most are self-explanatory however as the reservation [table] tag still does not work within custom templates, some tags such as [room number] and [room type] are still singular...
For example how would we include [merge] information for reservations with multiple rooms under the same booking?
Hello, Oli Clifford!

Hi Juss,
Thanks for your reply,
We spoke with Support this week and just awaiting on a response on this!
Just in case it helps other users though - we've identified that [Room Type] does in fact list multiple room types within a booking, which is a good thing. E.g Family Suite (x1), Double Room with Ensuite (x1)
However when dealing with bookings with multiple rooms and different arrival/departure times within a single reservation, the [merge] tags still appear to fall a little short.
For example the [nights] tag will not include information on multiple rooms within a booking.
Also the [start date] and [end date] tags will default to the earliest and latest dates within the reservation.
For example if a guest booked:
1 x Double room from 02/12 =>03/12 ( 1 night )
1 x Family Room from 02/12=>05/12 ( 3 nights )
The data pulled in the email template sent out to guests using the [merge] tags would be:
[start date] = 02/12
[end date] = 05/12
[nights] = 3
The tags wouldn't list, or differentiate between the different check-out dates or total nights stayed.
Which currently renders the custom templates a little redundant for 'Reservation Confirmation' or 'Folio Receipt' for most properties I would think?
Certainly without access to the [table] tag in custom templates.
Anyway hope this helps!
