Overview
Payment Portal is an adaptation of our Classic reports that makes managing payments more manageable. Currently, properties can find value in this portal if you are looking for processing information over a custom period that includes payout date information. This can be advantageous when reconciling reservations with bank deposits From Cloudbeds.
- This portal will adapt to become a dashboard in the future and is currently being beta-tested. In the future, you can manage transactions and chargebacks daily, analyze trends, and view and export custom reports.
- It is available only to Cloudbeds Payments users.
How to use
- Menu
- Payments
- Check your Total Payment Volume, which is calculated as (number of goods sold) x (the price of goods sold).
- Change the period: this report includes filters of one week, one month, three months, six months, and a custom filter.
- See your Payment Activity - it includes a ledger of transactions.
- You can see all transactions and break them into authorizations, payments, chargebacks, refunds, reversals, and voids.
- You can filter by date range and transaction status.
Exporting data
- Before you can export your data, be sure to include the proper filters by clicking on the filter button. You can ensure that the date range and transaction status are correct from here.
- To export, click the export button on the top right corner of the payment activity report. You will have the option to print or download into an Excel (.xls) or CSV file (.csv)
Payment Portal role privileges
Managing user roles and permissions in the payment portal, which has critical and sensitive financial features, is essential. Follow the steps below:
- Account

- Roles
- Edit each role to have the needed Payment Portal permissions.

Difference between the Payment Portal and Payment Classic Reports
- Cloudbeds Payment Classic Reports only include the Payment Processing Report, Payout Reports, and Monthly Statements. The Payment Portal is an excellent resource for accessing concise information. As Cloudbeds advances its reporting and in-house payment processing technology, we aim to further streamline reconciliation and payment processes for our properties.
