How to Report Scammers Impersonating Cloudbeds

Recently, there have been a number of cases in which scammers have created fraudulent websites impersonating Cloudbeds.com. These websites use our logo and web page template in an attempt to deceive people into making reservations, posting reviews, or logging in with their Cloudbeds credentials.

The scammers often use social media to lure victims and then engage in further communication via WhatsApp accounts.

  • Please, make sure you are vigilant and only interact with Cloudbeds.com through our official website and verified social media channels (see below).
  • Do not share any confidential information or engage in any operations which involve financial transactions.

Security Best Practices

  1. Always log in via our official/trusted page: signin.cloudbeds.com. We recommend bookmarking this page on all your official devices to avoid having to use Google to find our sign-in page.
  2. Be cautious with links and emails from unknown sources.
  3. Regularly update your devices using a trusted malware scanner to conduct a deep scan on all devices
  4. Reset your passwords & multi-factor authentication (MFA) regularly. We recommend every 90 days, but at minimum twice per year.
  5. Review and adjust users' roles and permissions regularly to ensure only necessary permissions are granted. Set user roles with granular permissions tailored to each user's needs, with special attention to permissions like 'Export Reservation List & Custom Emails,' which contain sensitive data. Learn more about configuring user permissions here.
  6. Always review new device login emails sent by Cloudbeds to ensure there are no logins from unknown devices.
