Introduction

The Email Delivery Log provides a history of emails sent from Cloudbeds PMS to guests and system users. Use it to confirm whether an email was sent successfully, delivered, or failed and to review information such as the recipient, subject, reservation, and guest.

The log includes emails generated through Cloudbeds email functionality, including email templates and system notifications. Use the filters to locate the message you need, then review its delivery status and available actions.

Review email delivery details

Each row in the Email Delivery Log can include the following information:

  1. Date sent: The date and time associated with the email.
  2. Status: The delivery status: Sent, Delivered, or Failed.
  3. To: The recipient email address. For reservation emails, this is typically the email address stored with the guest. System notifications or test emails can be sent to system users.
  4. Subject: The email subject configured in the email template or generated by the system for a system notification.
  5. Reservation ID: The booking number associated with the email, when applicable.
  6. Customer: The guest name associated with the email, when applicable.
  7. Other options:
    • View (eye icon): Opens an available preview of the previously sent email.
    • Resend: Resends the specific email when needed.

Email previews have access restrictions. The View eye icon is available only to users with the View Previously Sent Emails permission because sent emails may contain sensitive information. A user can open a past email preview only for a property they belong to.

If a preview returns Not found, confirm that the user is working with the correct property and belongs to that property. Property administrators can see Add, edit, or delete roles for instructions on reviewing role privileges.
