  • If you are already listed in Hopper, you do not need to create a new Hopper account/listings in their extranet. Follow this guide below and the channel will link your existing account afterwards.
  • Check the FAQ section before connecting to learn more information about the features supported and further details.

This guide is for connecting the Hopper channel and doesn't apply to Hopper Homes, which offers only an iCal connection and is available exclusively in the United States. To connect to Hopper Homes, you must import your listings from Airbnb and sync calendars via iCal to Cloudbeds.

Set up automatic payment processing for Hopper

Once Hopper is connected to Cloudbeds PMS, you can configure automatic payment processing for Hopper virtual cards. Instead of processing these cards manually, you can set a rule to automatically authorize or charge them according to a schedule.

  1. Go to Finance > Payment Options.
  2. Under Processing Methods, find Hopper in the channel list.
  3. Select when Hopper virtual cards should be automatically authorized or charged, and save your configuration.

Important information about Hopper payment processing:

  • Optional setup: Automatic payment processing is not enabled by default. If you don't configure a rule, Hopper virtual cards must continue to be processed manually.
  • Channel Collect: Hopper collects payment from the guest and sends the property a virtual card for the net amount. Only one processing rule is available for Hopper.
  • New reservations only: The processing rule applies only to Hopper reservations received after the rule is configured. Existing reservations must still be processed manually.
  • Hopper Homes: Automatic payment processing is not supported for Hopper Homes.
