Whistle Notifications - How to Enable Notifications in your Computer

If you want to turn notifications on from Whistle for Cloudbeds, follow the instructions below from your internet browser.

How to Enable Notifications in Chrome [Windows and Mac]

While logged in your property's unique Whistle URL, an initial prompt in dashboard asks for permission to allow notifications:

  1. Select Allow

In the event the notification prompt does not show or the permission is denied, manually allow for notifications:

  1. Click the Lock icon in the URL pathfinder
  2. Switch Notifications to be Ask to request access

In case the notification prompt still does not appear, change site settings to manually to allow for notifications:

  1. Go to Site Settings
  1. Change Notifications to Allow

While logged on property's unique Whistle URL, an initial prompt in dashboard asks for permission to allow notifications.

  1. Select Allow Notifications

In the event the notification prompt does not show or permission is denied, manually allow for notifications

  1. Click info icon in the URL pathfinder
  2. Notifications will have been Blocked Temporarily for your browser, remove this by click the X next to Blocked Temporarily
How to Enable Notifications in Microsoft Edge [Windows]

While logged on property's unique Whistle URL, an initial prompt in dashboard asks for permission to allow notifications.

  1. Select Yes

In the event the notification prompt does not show or the permission is denied, manually allow for notifications:

  1. Click the Lock icon in the URL pathfinder
  2. Switch Notifications to allow Edge to display notifications
How to Enable Notifications in Safari [Mac]

While logged on property's unique Whistle URL, an initial prompt in dashboard asks for permission to allow notifications.

  1. Select Yes

In the event the notification prompt does not show or permission is denied, manually allow for notifications

Go to Safari in top left and select Preferences

  1. Click the Websites tab to display website settings
  2. Click Notifications option on the left sidebar
  3. Click Allow under your buckets appropriate website URL domain
