Whistle Company Page - How to Use Surveys


Send a message to your guest(s) in the form of a question where the platform tracks the response. Automate specific responses based on the guest reply.

Surveys are created by admins, but all users have access.

Access Surveys

  1. Go to the Company tab inside Whistle
  2. Select the Surveys section

Create new Surveys

  1. Click on Create New Template

Fill out Survey Details

  1. Survey Title - not seen by guest
  2. Question - text sent to guest starting interaction
  3. Answer Type
    • Options - text based "yes" or "no"
    • Range - number based 1-10
  4. For automated replies, scroll down to click Add Follow Up
    • Set time to be delay (suggested 0)
    • Type message or use message icons for additional services
    • Click Save
  5. Click Create

Edit or Delete Surveys

On Surveys page, click on the icons to:

  1. Edit Survey
  2. Delete Survey
  1. Go to Survey Template Results (Analytics)

Send a Survey from Guest Chat

  1. While in the Guest Chat tab
  2. Click Start Conversation
  3. Select Start Survey
  4. Create New survey or click + Use Survey Template
  5. Click Next at the top right
  1. Add guest(s) or upload csv/excel file of guest(s) details from Cloudbeds PMS
  2. Click Next at the top right
  1. Click Send Survey or Schedule
