On this article, you will learn how to:
- Add email recipient(s) to receive an email if a website visitor starts a chat conversation.
- Add an action message, pop-up text next to chat icon, this encourages a website visitor to start a conversation by messaging in.
This feature requires Engagement Plus package.
Add Email Messaging
- Go to the Live Chat tab inside Whistle
- Select Settings section
- Select Email Messaging section
- Click + Add Email
Email recipients will have Live Chat messages sent to their email. Email recipients can also reply to Live Chat messages via email.
- Enter Email Recipient
- Set Status
- Click Confirm
