Introduction
The Property Details page is the central place to maintain the information that identifies and represents your property in Cloudbeds. Use it to keep your contact details, property description, physical address, map location, photos, and print header accurate.
Changes made on this page can affect what guests see in the Cloudbeds Booking Engine and what staff see or print in Cloudbeds PMS. This article explains how to access the page and update each section, including the image requirements and location settings to review before saving.
On the Property Details page, you can manage:
- Property contact information and description
- Property address and map location
- Property photos and print header
Property photos appear in the Cloudbeds Booking Engine. The print header appears on supported printed pages in Cloudbeds PMS.
Access the property profile
To access the Property Details page:
- Open your Account
and select Settings
- Go to Property
- Open the Details tab
The screenshot below shows where to open the Property Details page from the account settings.
Property contact information and description
In Property contact info, add or update:
- Property type
- Property name
The Property name is displayed in reservation communications, user actions, reports, and the Booking Engine.
- Do not use a comma in the property name. It may cause errors when the system sends email messages.
- Do not use a backslash (\) in the property name. It may interfere with Booking Engine functionality.
- Property phone

Property email
- Enter an accurate and accessible email address. Guest inquiries are sent to this address.
- Website
- Contact person's first and last name
The screenshot below shows the Property contact info fields and the numbered details you can update in this section.
Add or edit the property description
- Use the Property description editor below the contact information to describe your property.
- Select the language menu to add or edit the description in an available language. The property's main language is identified in the menu.
- Use the formatting toolbar to format text or add supported links and images.

After completing your changes, click Save at the bottom of the page.
Property name and legal name
Changing the Property name does not change the Company Legal Name in the Billing Portal.
To change the legal name, see Making changes to your Billing Account.

Property address and map settings
- Scroll to the Property address section.
- Enter the property's:
- Country
- Street address
- Apartment, suite, floor, or other address details, if applicable
- City
- State or province
- Postal or ZIP code
- Confirm that the marker displays the correct property location on the map.
- If needed, drag the marker to the correct location to update the coordinates.
- Click Save.
The Booking Engine uses the address and map location entered in the property settings. Verify that the address and marker are accurate.
Booking Engine map settings
The Booking Engine uses the property location saved in your system settings to display the map.

Property photos and print header
Highlights
Review these image requirements before uploading files:
- Property photos: Recommended minimum size of 700 × 490 pixels.
- Print header: Recommended minimum size of 600 × 80 pixels.
- Supported file formats are .jpg, .jpeg, and .png.
- Each file can be up to 10 MB.
- The property can contain up to 230 property photos and one print-header image.
- Property photos appear in the Cloudbeds Booking Engine and are not sent to connected OTAs.
Property photos
Property photos give guests a visual overview of the property in the Cloudbeds Booking Engine. Consider including photos of areas such as the entrance, reception, rooms, restaurant, and amenities.
Add property photos
- On the Details page, scroll to Property photos.
- Click the + tile to open the photo manager.
- Add images using either option:
- Drag and drop files into the upload area.
- Click browse local files and select files from your device.
- Wait for each image to display an Uploaded status.
- Review the uploaded images and make any required edits.
- Click Save.
Property photo recommendations
For better visibility in the Booking Engine, upload at least five property photos.
Drag and drop the images in the photo manager to reorder them. The first image in the list appears as the featured property photo in the Booking Engine.
Editing options

Reorder an image: Drag it to another position in the photo manager.

Edit an image: Click the pencil icon
- Adjust the visible area: Reposition the crop area in the image editor.

Add alt text: Enter a short description of the image in the Alt text field.

Delete an image: Click the trash icon
An image that does not meet the minimum required dimensions displays a Failed status. Remove the file and upload an image that meets the displayed size requirement.
Print Header Logo
The Print header appears when printing supported Dashboard, Housekeeping, and Folio pages and in Pay by Link emails.
Upload the print header
- On the Details page, scroll to Print header.
- Drag and drop the image into the upload area, or click browse local files.
- Select a supported .jpg, .jpeg, or .png file of up to 10 MB.
- Click Save at the bottom of the page.

The example below shows how the print header appears on supported Housekeeping, Dashboard, and Folio printouts.
