Taxes and Fees - How to apply Taxes and Fees to an existing item or service


Cloudbeds PMS allows to link Taxes and Fees to the items (example: bottle of water) or services (example: wine tour) offered at your property. Click to know more about Items & Categories Overview.

This article explains how to link the applicable taxes and fees to your items.

Apply taxes and Fees to Items or Services

  • Make sure your Taxes and Fees have been already created before applying them to your Items or Services: Taxes and Fees - How to create Taxes and Fees
  •  Changes made to price, applied taxes or fees will affect only future transactions.
  1. Click on Manage (gear icon).
  2. Go to Items & Services.
  3. Click on the Items and Services tab.
  4. Find the item you want to add tax to, and click on the edit icon.
  5. Click to Apply Tax or Fee and select the corresponding one.
  6. Save item.
