Frequently Asked Questions
Do I need to register my cashier system with the German fiscal authority?
Registration requirements with the Finanzamt are being confirmed. Documentation will be provided separately once available from Fiskaly.
Can I use this integration alongside my POS system?
Yes. Each system (Cloudbeds PMS and your POS) must be separately registered with the fiscal authority. The Fiskaly DE integration covers PMS payments only.
What is the difference between a receipt and an invoice?
Fiscalization happens at the payment level. A receipt is generated each time a payment is posted. An invoice is a separate document summarizing charges. Receipt numbers will appear on invoices in a future release.
What if I lose my Admin-PUK?
Click "Neue Admin-PUK erhalten" in the TSS section to request a new one, then repeat the Admin-PIN setup (Step 5b).
Will B2B e-invoicing be supported?
B2B e-invoicing is mandatory under German law from 2027. A dedicated release is planned ahead of that deadline.
