Verify Your Cloudbeds Payments Account

If you process payments through Cloudbeds Payments in Europe, new regulatory requirements mean you need to submit additional verification information to keep your account active. This is a legal compliance requirement and affects a number of European merchants.
This article explains what is happening, what you need to do, and when.

What is happening?

European financial regulations now require payment processors to collect additional Know Your Customer (KYC) information from merchants. These rules are designed to prevent fraud and money laundering across the European payments ecosystem.
As Cloudbeds Payments is powered by Stripe, affected merchant accounts have been identified and must provide updated information by the deadlines below.

Am I affected?

This requirement applies to Cloudbeds Payments merchants in Europe who have processed transactions within the last 6 to 12 months.
If your account is affected, you will see a red banner notification at the top of your Cloudbeds PMS. You can also check your account status by: AccountAccount menu icon.png-> SettingsSettings icon.png-> FinanceFinance icon.png-> Payment Options.
If you do not see the banner and have not received a direct communication from us, your account is not currently affected.

Frequently Asked Questions
