Overview
Cloudbeds is updating the Reporting module to improve how you discover and organize reports in the PMS. The legacy Reporting dropdown menu is being replaced with a centralized Reporting Homepage that puts Cloudbeds-owned reports in one organized, searchable hub.
This update also introduces a Reporting Drawer inside individual report pages, allowing you to browse and open other reports without losing your current context.
This Reporting navigation update is expected in Q2 2026. It will be applied automatically to all properties with Reporting access; no setup or action is required.
What is changing?
This update is a visual and navigation enhancement to the Reporting experience. It changes how users access, browse, and switch between reports, but it does not change the underlying report data.
Use the tabs below to compare how to access reports in the current navigation versus the updated Reporting Homepage experience.
In the current experience, click Reporting from the left navigation menu to expand the reporting options and select the report section you want to open.
Key enhancements:
- The Reporting dropdown menu is replaced by a full-page homepage for faster and more centralized access
- Reports are organized into category folders for easier browsing
- A search bar helps you quickly find reports by name or keywords
- A Favorites folder lets you pin frequently used reports for one-click access
- A Reporting Drawer allows you to open additional reports in new browser tabs and work across multiple reports at the same time
The new Reporting Homepage
Instead of navigating through a flyout menu, users will click Reporting in the primary navigation and land on a full-page homepage.
Category folders
Reports are organized into folders such as Daily, Financial, Production, and others to make browsing easier.
Search reports
A search bar at the top of the homepage allows users to find reports by:
- Full report name
- Partial report name
- Keywords included in the report description
Report type identification
Users can distinguish report types directly from the homepage:
- Insights Stock Reports display a chart icon to the left of the report name
- Standard Reports do not display an icon
Favorites and customization
Users can customize the homepage by saving frequently used reports as Favorites.
- Locate the report on the homepage
- Click the star icon next to the report name
- The report will be added to a new Favorites folder
- Click the star again to remove the report from Favorites
The Favorites folder appears as the leftmost folder on the homepage for quick access.
Multitasking with the Reporting Drawer
A new Reporting Drawer is available inside every individual report page, allowing users to browse other reports without leaving their current report.
- Browse additional reports while keeping the current report open
- Open selected reports in a new browser tab
- Collapse or expand the drawer as needed for easier browsing
What stayed the same?
- No action is required to access the new experience
- All report data, calculations, and financial logic remain unchanged
- Reporting access continues to follow existing user permissions
