Embedding Cloudbeds Immersive Experience 2.0 on a Wix Website

Below is a step-by-step guide to embed the Cloudbeds Immersive Experience 2.0 booking widget on a Wix website.

1. Prepare Your Immersive Experience Script

Before you begin, identify your Booking Engine ID.

You can find it in either of these places:

• Booking Engine URL: Navigate to your Booking Engine and locate the ID after reservation/ in the URL.

  

• MFD Settings: Go to Account → Settings → Booking Engine → Summary, then view your Booking Engine URL and extract the ID.

  

You will insert this Booking Engine ID into the script later by replacing the PROPERTY_CODE placeholder.

2. Open the Wix Editor

1. Log in to your Wix account.
2. Open the site you want to edit.
3. Go to the Wix Editor.

3. Insert a Custom Element

1. In the top-left corner, select the “+” (Add) button.

   

2. In the search bar, type “code”, or navigate manually to locate Custom Element.

   

3. Select Custom Element to add it to the page.

4. Configure the Custom Element

1. With the Custom Element selected, click Choose Source.
2. Select the radio button for Server URL.
3. In the Serve URL field, enter the Immersive Experience script:

4. In the Tag name field, enter this:

cb-immersive-experience

5. Save and Publish

1. After updating the script, click Save.
