Segments

Guest Segments are filters on your guest profiles, that you can save and use for the creation of targeted e-mail campaigns. For example, you can create a filter for specific rooms types or rate codes, for guests based on a location close to your property, as well as many other variations.
 

Once created you will find a box for each segment:

  • The top section will show the number of guests with an e-mail address contained in this segment, as well as the average daily rate of their bookings
  • You will then see the number of Contact Lists selected in this segment
  • And finally the specific filters that have been defined. Please see the Create Segment article for details about the filters.

Creating a Segment

To create a new segment, simply click on the Create Guest Segment button, to open the Create Segment section.


 

View a Segment Contacts

To view the contacts of a segment, first move the mouse pointer over a segment, and then click the View Details button:

You will then be shown the Segment Details section.
 

Edit a Segment

As for viewing a segment contacts, hover over a section, and then click on the pencil icon edit-button-gray-pencil-icon.png to open the create/edit segment section.
 

Delete a Segment

As above, when hovering over a segment, simply press the trash icon dark-bin-or-trash-icon.png followed by the Delete button in the dialog to remove a segment:
