How to connect Catalunya Police Report (Mossos d’Esquadra)

  • The Mossos d’Esquadra police force in Catalunya requires properties to submit daily reports of guests with and without contract.
  • The app automatically generates the required report every day after midnight, validating guest details according to Mossos d’Esquadra requirements.
  • Cloudbeds provides this free integration for customers in the Catalunya region.

Before you start

  • Go to Account Menu Account menu icon.png → Settings Settings icon.png → Guests guest-icon.png → Guest Information and make sure the template called “Spain” is selected. For more information, see Use Guest Information Templates for Government Data Compliance.

  • If you don’t see the Guest Information tab yet, contact Support and request to enable it for your property. (This makes Mossos d’Esquadra–required fields mandatory when editing guest details after the reservation is created.)

  • If you previously connected SES.HOSPEDAJES, go to Account Menu Account menu icon.png → Settings Settings icon.png → Guests guest-icon.png → Custom Fields and delete the legacy fields (if present): Soporte Doc. (SES), Parentesco (SES), Código Municipio (SES). These fields were created by an earlier integration and are no longer needed; removing them won’t erase historical values from past reservations.

  Properties in Organizations: Organization Owners can’t download this app from the Marketplace. Use a Property-level user with Marketplace permissions to connect the app.

⚠️ Compatibility Limitations with Cloudbeds Guest Experience

This integration is not fully compatible with Cloudbeds Guest Experience. Cloudbeds Guest Experience does not collect some guest details required for the police reports, including Last Name 2, Municipality Code, Parentesco, and Soporte Document. 

These details must be entered manually in Cloudbeds PMS by a property user for the integration to work correctly.

Connect the app

  1. From your Account menu Account menu.png, click Apps & Marketplace Apps and Marketplace icon.png

  2. Search for “Catalunya” and click Learn More for Spain – Police Report (Mossos d’Esquadra).

  3. Click Connect App.

  4. Click Allow Access to grant the requested permissions.

     

  5. After allowing access, you’ll be redirected to Connected Apps. Click App page.

  6. Click Settings.

     

Configure the app settings

  1. Complete the Mossos d’Esquadra fields as they apply to your property:
    • Código de Establecimiento (required to activate reporting)
    • Any other details provided by Mossos d’Esquadra for your reporting method
  2. Click Submit to save.
    There is no success notification; the settings are saved after you click Submit.

  About the “Código de Establecimiento”: If you need help getting your establishment code, refer to the Mossos d’Esquadra Frequently Asked Questions. This code is required for the integration to generate and send reports.

  The integration currently can’t access all the required details to fetch the payment type from the property. As a result, the app uses “OTRO” as the payment method for all reservations. A fix is planned for Q4 2025.
