Cloudbeds Websites Troubleshooting

If your website is not working as expected — for example, it's down or the booking widget is not working — this guide will walk you through troubleshooting steps you can take before reaching out to support. Many issues can be resolved by checking a few key settings or making sure your domain and browser are properly configured.

1 - Check your Website Status

  1. Open your website in a private/incognito browser window to check if the issue persists.
  2. If the site appears offline or displays an error, proceed to the next steps below to identify the cause.

2 - Clear your Browser Cache

  1. Clear your browser’s cache and cookies (learn here how to clear cache)
  2. After clearing, reload your website and check if the issue is resolved.

3 - Check Domain and DNS Settings

  1. Visit this site.
  2. In the dropdown, select:
    • CNAME if checking a subdomain (e.g., www.example.com). It should point to s.multiscreensite.com.
    • If checking a root domain (e.g., example.com). It should point to 35.172.94.1 and 100.24.208.97.
  3. If you see red Xs or incorrect values, contact your domain provider to verify and correct your DNS settings.
  4. You can also use this DNS configuration guide (EN) or (ES).

4 - Troubleshooting the Booking Widget

  1. Log in to your Cloudbeds account and check your availability, rates, and restrictions.
  2. Ensure that rooms and rate plans are active and available for the dates you’re testing.
  3. If the booking engine is working from Cloudbeds but not showing correctly on your website, contact Cloudbeds support for further help.

5 - Contact Support

  1. If you've followed the steps above and your issue is not resolved, reach out to our team.
  2. Include a detailed description of the issue and any troubleshooting steps you’ve already tried
  3. For faster support, go to support details, take a screenshot of the page, and share it with us.
