Our Domain Purchase Services offer Cloudbeds Website customers a seamless solution for acquiring and managing custom domains. This service includes:

  • Monthly hosting
  • Support for domain transfers and cancellations.
  • Our website team will manually handle all domain management through the CB Website portal.

Pricing

  • We charge a one-time setup fee and a monthly hosting fee as long as your website service is active.
  • For domain transfers and cancelations, a one-time cancelation fee will be charged.

Cancelations and Refunds

  • If a customer cancels or downgrades their website service, the website team will turn off the domain auto-renewal via our management console, and the website will be unpublished.
  • If the customer cancels and does not request a transfer by the expiration date, the domain will be released.
  • No refunds will be given at any point for non-use of purchased domains.

Domain Registration and Management

  • Registration: The Websites team will handle domain registrations manually via Cloudbeds Website platform.
  • Billing: Domain package fees will be added to your billing portal by our team.
  • Cancellation/Downgrade: Auto-renewal will be turned off, and the website unpublished. Domain manually removed from customer Website.
  • Domain Transfers: Team confirms cancellation with billing and guides the customer on transferring the domain.

  • Separate Setup: Customers must use external providers like Microsoft 365 or Google Workspace for email services.
  • Support: The website team provides guidance and DNS setup assistance only.

Customers should contact the website design team or their dedicated website coordinator to purchase a domain. The team will manage the registration process through CB Websites and add the domain package to the customer's billing via billing request.

What is the process if a customer cancels their website service?

If a customer cancels or downgrades their website service, the domain's auto-renewal will be turned off, and the website will be unpublished. The customer can request a domain transfer before the renewal/expiration date. No refunds will be provided for non-use of purchased domains.

How do customers transfer their domains?
