To support better reconciliation and transparency, Cloudbeds has released new enhancements to the Cloudbeds Insights platform. These updates improve visibility into the IC+ fee structure and associated adjustments:
Key Enhancements Include:
- Development of new data sets and views for comprehensive reconciliation of IC+ fees
- Improved visibility into gateway processing adjustments, interchange breakdowns, and payouts
- Addition of Group Profile and House Account IDs to the Payment dataset, allowing users to link transactions more accurately across group profiles
- Extension of the Payment dataset to include interchange adjustment attributes
- New Columns in Cloudbeds Insights Payment and Payout Reports:
- Payment Fee Adjustment – IC+, and other adjustments
- Total Payment Fee – Total fee charged for a transaction
- Inventory Object ID – Identifier for the associated object (e.g., reservation)
- Inventory Object Type – Type of object (e.g., Reservation, House Account)
These columns have been logically ordered to enhance report readability and usability.
Important Timing Information
Fee adjustment records are generally available before the 8th of each month.
Reconciliation for the previous month can be conducted once all adjustments are reflected in Cloudbeds Insights.
