Connect SynXis by Aven Hospitality to Cloudbeds PMS

  • SynXis by Aven Hospitality is a widely used Central Reservation System (CRS) solution that supports complex distribution across GDS, OTAs, Call Centers, and direct booking engines.
  • Cloudbeds offers a Basic 2-Way Integration with SynXis by Aven Hospitality, allowing properties to sync availability, rates, and inventory (ARI) from Cloudbeds to SynXis by Aven Hospitality, and receive reservations from SynXis by Aven Hospitality into the PMS.
  • This integration enables properties of all sizes, especially mid-market and independent hotels, to centralize reservation management and streamline distribution strategies without incurring any additional costs.

Note on Rebranding: SynXis by Aven Hospitality has evolved through several names to better serve the market. This integration may be referred to as SynXis, SynXis by Sabre, Hospitality Solutions, or SynXis by Aven Hospitality. Whether you are searching for the legacy SynXis connection or the current suite, this article provides the correct setup steps for all versions of this CRS solution.

  1. Connection Type: Select your preferred connection type. This integration supports Full and Custom connections.

  1. This connection requires approval before use. Click Exit Setup and go to Step 2.

Step 2 – Request the integration to Cloudbeds PMS

  1. Contact the SynXis by Aven Hospitality team to request the Cloudbeds PMS integration at shscustomercare@sabre.com
  2. SynXis by Aven Hospitality will guide you through setting up PMS codes for rooms and rate plans in the SynXis by Aven Hospitality extranet. These can be custom codes or full names.

Once setup is completed, SynXis by Aven Hospitality will email our Support Team to confirm your property is ready for activation. Once confirmed, the channel status will change to Ready for mapping in Cloudbeds, and you can proceed with the next step.

Step 3 – Start mapping SynXis by Aven Hospitality in Cloudbeds PMS

On the Distribution Channels page, the channel should be marked as ready for mapping.

  1. Click to complete the mapping

If you don't see SynXis by Aven Hospitality' status as Ready for Mapping - the connection is not ready yet.

  1. Map your rooms. One Cloudbeds room should be mapped to one channel room.

Check this article for more information about the mapping process: Room mapping guidelines.

  1. Rate Plan Mapping. Cloudbeds rate plans can be mapped to corresponding rate plans in SynXis by Aven Hospitality.

  1. Base Rate Adjustment (Optional). You can apply rate adjustments per room type for the SynXis by Aven Hospitality channel (e.g., increase or decrease rates by percentage or amount). When completed, click Continue, or leave it at zero if you want to skip it.

  1. Extra Settings. During this step, you can set rates for extra adults and children. Save and continue.

Occupancy-based pricing supports rates for up to 5 guests. For properties accommodating more than 5 guests, additional per-person pricing should be configured in the 'Extra Settings' step during the connection setup. Additionally, be sure to specify tax settings to indicate whether taxes are included in the rate.

  •  Once all configuration steps are completed, the SynXis by Aven Hospitality connection status will automatically update to Enabled, and the Cloudbeds system will notify the SynXis by Aven Hospitality team via an automated email that the integration is active.
  • ❗SynXis by Aven Hospitality may perform a brief test session with you to verify ARI (Availability, Rates, and Inventory) synchronization and to conduct test reservations.

Important considerations

Reservation Details

A few new fields related to CRS reservations are displayed on the reservation's header and in the "show more" section. Note that these fields provide additional information and do not impact the reservation process.

For instance, the voucher information is not automatically applied to the reservation folio. If there are any necessary changes to the reservation folio, the property staff must apply them manually.
