Emojis are digital images or icons expressing ideas, concepts or emotions. Cloudbeds Booking Engine only displays the room type name by default, but it is possible to include emojis to add a fun and dynamic element to your booking engine page.
This article explains the process to add emojis to your room type names.

- Properties accepting pets.
- Properties serving breakfast (or other meals) but without enough characters to add additional descriptions in the room type name.
Add Emojis to the Room Type Names
Step 1 - Get the desired emojis
Desktop environments are adapting and gaining mobile features like emoji characters. Depending on your computer/browser, there are different ways to obtain your preferred emoji.

Step 2 - Add emoji to the Room Type name on Cloudbeds PMS
- Click Manage (gear icon)
- Go to Accommodation Types
- Click on the desired Room Type
- Copy the emoji from the external source referred on the Step 1, and paste it next to the room type name on Cloudbeds PMS.
- To show the emoji in other languages, switch the language next to the room name
- Add the emoji again. Repeat this process in each preferred language.
