How to Connect HipCamp to myfrontdesk


HipCamp is everywhere you want to camp. From public parks to private land, Hipcamp is one of the most comprehensive guides to camping in the United States. This channel covers all National, State, Regional and Army Corps Parks in all 50 States, which comes out to 9,463 Parks, 18,470 Campgrounds and 365,984 Campsites across the country.

HipCamp is a calendar-based channel, which works differently than normal distribution channels. For example, only availability can be updated, no rates or any other stay restrictions will be sent or updated. You can learn more about this by reading our article here.

Note: Calendar channels do not support receiving rates from a channel manager. You must enter rates directly into your extranet.

How to connect HipCamp to myfrontdesk

Step 1 - Getting Started
  • If you do not have an account on HipCamp

First, you need to create an account on HipCamp. Here's the sign-up link

  • If you do have an account on HipCamp

Go ahead and proceed with Step 2

Step 2. Start mapping HipCamp in myfrontdesk
  1. Go to myfrontdesk and open the Channels page
  2. Search for HipCamp and click on 'Not Setup, Click to Setup' button

3. Click to enable the channel
