Cloudbeds is releasing an update to the myfrontdesk system in September 2019. This update includes:
- Custom Currency Conversion Rate Settings for Channels
- Cancellation Fee Added to Cancellation Emails
- Guest(s) Gender now Displayed on Reservations
You are now able to set custom currency conversion values for channel rate updates directly inside myfrontdesk! However, keep in mind that this is only applicable to rate updates sent to channels, not booking engine mybookings.
These currency settings only affect rates being sent to channels, not for rates in bookings received from channels.

The cancellation fee will now be displayed in reservation cancellation emails, in addition to being shown directly in the reservation on myfrontdesk.
Note: We will only display this for OTAs that send us this information - It doesn't apply for direct bookings.
If a reservation is canceled and the fee comes in as a zero value, we will show that on the reservation. This just means that the reservation was canceled but per your policy on that channel, no cancellation fee was applied to the now-canceled guest.

For channels that send us information about customer's gender, as well as, the count of males/females per reservation, myfrontdesk will now display that information inside the reservation. Customer gender will now be displayed on the 'Guest Details' section while the count of males/females will show on the header of the reservation.
This is only available for OTA reservations and only for OTA's that do send us this information. It is also not possible to edit this information inside myfrontdesk.
